L'Officina Marittima Bisognani puts focus on the development of new technologies and processes for the production of propellers, rudders and struts.


Design


The development of new methods of calculation and the use of CFD code allows us to optimize our products, dand to seek ever more efficien solutions, as in the case of propellers for fast boats, where the priority is to achieve maximum speed, trying to avoid cavitation, or at least try to minimize. The same applies to the fluctuation of the pressure induced by the propeller on the hull and rudder.

In fact, our models of props and supports are made entirely on CNC milling machines

The processes of realizable models is an area in which we invest in research. In fact, our models of props and supports are made entirely on CNC milling machines and also through Rapid Prototyping , for us the accuracy and quality are fundamental.


Materials


The materials we use for the propellers are carefully designed and field-proven, to obtain an alloy mere resistant to efforts and the cavitation erosio and to which propellers are subjected, without compromising the ductility of the material (crucial in the case of straightening due to shock or pitch changes).

Even in the manufacturing sector we are constantly seeking of the solutions that allows us to obtain the finished product in ever shorter and with maximum possible precision, for this we are studyng robotic system for the processing of the propellers.

Aso we already have two units of automated dimensional ispection, a laser system developed and manufactured entirely by us.
